Abstract

In this article, we describe the possibility of using the Khan Academy to support mathematics education at high school level. At Gymnázium Přípotoční in Prague 10, we regularly assign homework to students through Khan Academy and grade their work. We describe the advantages and disadvantages of this approach in the context of current didactic knowledge. Finally, we present some practical experience that we have acquired during the Khan Academy implementation. At the beginning of the article, we also review four other online tools that can as well as Khan Academy support math education.
