Some ideas from Euclid’s Elements

Abstract

The article deals with Euclid’s Elements – books VII–IX. These are arithmetical books but everything is viewed geometrically there. The article is not any description of the content of the books. However, it tries to show the main way of thinking used there – geometrical view on arithmetical topics.
