Abstract

This article describes the application of modern semiconductor detectors of gamma and beta radiation, which can replace demonstration counters with Geiger-Müller tubes in a schools. Unlike these counters described detectors do not require a high voltage source for power or output shaping circuits, because used electronics provides output in form of TTL pulses that can be easily processed.
