iBooks Author in teaching at primary school

Abstract

This article presents the iBooks Author application, which enables making interactive eBooks for Apple devices. In these days, when the market is full of educational software, there will surely be teachers, who would like to prepare their own electronic materials. iBooks Author application is a very interesting and relatively complex solution. This tool allows to fill the eBook not only with text and pictures, but also with other types of multimedia as well. And by using the widgets you can use some other additions such as links to web, quizzes, puzzles, 3D object or interactive pictures with descriptions. This allows to create attractive content for the children’s iPads or iPhones, which they can see immediately.
