Abstract

The paper summarizes experiences of physics teacher educators from Matej Bel University Banská Bystrica (Slovakia) in the area of non-formal educational activities performed at the Researchers’ night event. Results of a survey realized in 2016 are introduced and benefits of the event for school physics education are discussed. Instructions for a construction of a successful exhibit – camera obscura – that can be used within the both formal and non-formal physics education are presented.
