New edition of the textbook Mechanical Oscillations and Waves

Abstract

The article informs about the new, 5th revised edition of the textbook Mechanical Oscillations and Waves. It deals in detail with the contents of the CD, which is attached to the textbook. There is newly developed expanding curriculum and the theoretical exercises are complemented by the task of a pendulum. There are also new laboratory exercises using the Vernier measuring system. There are also 21 animations on the CD and a chapter on the modeling of some physical processes using a spreadsheet.
