Abstract

The paper concerns discrete probability problems for high school students. In the beginning, there are mentioned some problems that may complicate the students to understand the subject matter and their teachers to explain it, which leads to the low popularity of probability at high schools. Therefore, the following main part proposes an approach on how to deal with these problems. The approach is illustrated on three concrete examples, while several solutions together with their comparisons are shown, and graphical illustrations are provided, which often help the students to understand the solved task.
