Abstract

This paper presents several geometric exercises which emerged during Origami-mathematics lessons in a high-school mathematics teaching. Our experience is that Origami can be beneficial to the students’ geometric reasoning. Origami is often source of unusual geometric problems and gives students the chance to see mathematics in another context or approach mathematic concepts in a unique way.
