Cyber Security and Information Security in High Schools

Abstract

The article can serve as a quick guide for high school directors and computer science teachers about the fundaments of cyber security and information security education in the today's world full of threats, and how to introduce such education to all high school Framework Educational Programmes and School Educational Programmes in the Czech Republic. It outlines the newly developed three-level concept cyber security and information security education with the highest degree in the form of Junior Centers of Excellence (JCE). In the next issue we will discuss the first experience with JCE and their services for other schools within the regions in more detail.
