The Thermodielectric Effect and its measurement

Abstract

The main goal of this paper is to show possibilities in measurement and description of the thermodielectric effect. This phenomenon can be demonstrated during education process. Thermodielectric effect is not sufficiently explained and this fact can motivate students and junior researchers to investigate mentioned phenomenon. This paper deals with thermodielectric effect description using fundamental the laws of thermodynamics and confirmation of obtained theoretical conclusions via measurement methods (potential difference measurement, calorimetry).
