Abstract

The contribution aims to familiarize mathematics teachers of all types and grades of schools with the tactile game – Triangle Puzzle. The game is intended primarily for blind and partially sighted students. However, it can also serve mathematics teachers of primary schools and lower years of multi-year grammar schools when teaching geometry. The triangular puzzle is a suitable addition to the teaching of geometry, as it supports the development of manipulative activities, aids creativity, and stimulates creativity. Tactile play will enable intact pupils, as well as pupils with special educational needs, to better understand the basic relationships and properties of geometric shapes in a plane. It helps develop geometric and combinatory thinking, and supports the development of spatial and planar imagination.
