Inquiry based teaching of triangles

Abstract

The inquiry-based education is based on identifying research questions, searching for answers and appropriate arguments for their justification. The article presents two topics for investigation of selected properties of triangles, which may contribute to the development of inquiry skills of students in secondary school education. Students can look for relationships between explored objects using experimentation with dynamic constructions in the program Geogebra. The article also contains a proposal for ways to lead students to justify discovered experimental findings.
