Abstract

In this paper the application of physics in everyday life is described. Three examples of everyday phenomena are presented - problem of spilling the coffee with "coffee to go", the formation of coffee rings in drying coffee drops and the Marangoni effect, and the height of the perceived sound when the spoon hits the bottom of the cup during mixing drinks with foam.
