Abstract

This article describes the measurement of the energy spectrum of a copper anode of an X-ray tube. The introduction explains the origin of X-rays and diffraction of rays on mono-crystal. This is followed by a measurement confirming the Bragg equation and the energy spectrum measurement using the Bragg configuration. All measurements are made with the X-ray chamber described in the previous article: X-rays in and outside the school 1. The article ends with the experimental verification of the Planck constant.
