Superellipse and superformula

Abstract

There is shown in the article that many of naturally existing shapes can be modelled using transformations proposed by Johan Gielis. The main part of the article is concerned about the superellipse transformations. The examples of Gielis transformations were produced via Geogebra and SAS/STAT software.
