Thought derivation of quantity equations

Abstract

This paper deals with „thought derivation of quantity equations“ at upper secondary school level. This is an alternative approach to the deductive derivation from more general physical equations and to the derivation from real physical experiments. Five examples of this approach and its disadvantages are discussed in the paper.
