Abstract

This work deals with the demonstration of experimental verification of the second Newton's motion law, which is also known as the Law of Force. An innovative measurement method is designed using simple tools such as a car ramp, an optical gate made up of a laser pointer and a solar cell, and a computer. The experiment eliminates inaccuracies that arise from the use of an air or wheelchair, where the weight of the auxiliary weight must always be considered, which produces tensile force on the trolley over the pulley. The results of the experiment graphically illustrate the dependence of the acceleration on the force and weight of the wheelchair.
