Angle bisectors in a triangle

Abstract

In this contribution, there are most important properties of internal and external angle bisectors in a triangle are described, which are supplemented with some of their applications by solving non-standard mathematical problems, for instance, by the derivation of Apollonius‘ circle. The content of this article can be used in the work with mathematically gifted pupils or in mathematical circles at high schools.
