Development of Czech physics textbooks until in the mid-20th century

Abstract

The article deals with the development and role of physics textbooks used at Czech schools in the course of the 19th and first half of the 20th century. It focuses on the beginning of the Czech written textbooks in the 19th century used at Czech primary, secondary and high schools. It points out significant activity of the Union of Czech Mathematicians and Physicists in this sphere.
