Praemium Bohemiae 2017 in gold

Abstract

The paper deals with the prestigious prizes of Praemium Bohemiae, awarded by the Bohuslav Jan Horáček Foundation to the Czech Paradise. Awards are won by Czech medalists from international science Olympiads with worldwide participation in physics, chemistry, biology, mathematics, informatics and astronomy with astrophysics. Together 24 prizes have been awarded in the year 2017 for the winners of 4 gold, 9 silver and 11 bronze medals. Moreover 3 extra prizes have been added for the gold team participating in the European Union Science Olympiad (EUSO). Besides medals and diplomas, students received also a financial awards in a total sum of CZK 620,000.
