On Useful Couple of Circles

Abstract

The article deals with a demonstration to the reader of some unusual constructions of line segments of irrational length. It is based on one configuration of a couple of unit circles, in which there are some line segments of irrational length we can see directly. Line segments of the other irrational lengths we obtain by the construction of another suitable point. The proofs of the constructions are easy, based on the Pythagorean theorem and Euclidean theorems.
