The power of a point theorem in proofs

Abstract

The power of a point theorem and its two corollaries – the chord-chord power theorem and the secant-secant power theorem – can simplify some proofs dealing with segment lengths in constructions a lot. But not only these proofs, this theorem is useful for proving many geometric statements.
