Developing students' knowledge using GeoGebra

Abstract

This paper focuses on students' active discovery of new knowledge using GeoGebra. Four particular illustrations are presented, accompanied by methodological notes. Two of them are devoted to the properties of graphs of linear and quadratic functions; the other two illustrations explore the loci of points in the plane - the Thales circle and the locus of points from where the given segment is visible at a given angle.
