Critical aspects of our school mathematics

Abstract

Article discusses some phenomena that are important for improving the teaching of mathematics. For examples: mental arithmetic, understanding concepts, interpretation of terms, construction problems in geometry, cultivation of thought. Fundamental role in improving teaching plays, however, the level of teachers´ work and social readiness of students.
